Community Engagement

Centred around our three key areas of: employability, the elderly and the arts, we continue to support charity and community groups within the Greater Manchester area. We aim to offer our support in various ways, including monetary funding and Assets Based Community Development, focusing on the strengths and assets within our community. If you are looking for support, please get in touch using the contact us form below. We continue to support charity and community groups within the Greater Manchester area and beyond.

Working together

We’ve been busy helping to improve public spaces in the local area, carrying out maintenance jobs, litter picking, pruning and planting trees and shrubs, serving Christmas lunches to the elderly at The Grafton Centre and Victoria Park Community Centre and helping put on fun events at Manchester Children’s Hospital.

We are part of the community in Tameside. We benefit immensely from the local amenities and skills the area boasts, so giving something back isn’t just about ticking boxes for Brother – we owe it to the people around us.

Brother Golden Ring Project

Here you can find our colleagues efforts in supporting our global initiative the Golden Ring Project. Hosted every year by Brother Global, each local office takes part to create a 'ring' of support around the world by running, cycling, walking, swimming etc. In order to create a relay of events with a sense of unity on a global sale, through a common goal of raising vital funds to support Cancer charities across the world.

Christie Charity

As part of our Golden Ring Project, established in 2011 to encourage charity events across Brother, on a global scale, to support cancer patients, we volunteer and raise money for the Christie Charity. Our team raised an impressive £1,052 for The Christie Charity in June. Everyone pulled together for a fantastic few days of activity – from a pub quiz to a Colour Obstacle Rush – to raise vital funds for cancer care and research.
