Asháninka

Brother has supported Cool Earth's Asháninka partnership in the Peruvian rainforest since 2009. Our achievements include equipping medical outposts, providing clean water for the local community and funding six boats to enable emergency evacuations and transport to local markets.

Orangerie Bay

Our partnership has now expanded to Orangerie Bay in Papua New Guinea’s rainforest. So far we have funded a new school building, donated sewing machines to a women's sewing cooperative and contributed towards household essentials and agricultural tools for village inhabitants.

Collaboration

Since 2008, Cool Earth has helped shield millions of trees from loggers, protecting a wealth of biodiversity and empowering villages to keep their forest and homes intact.

With Brother's support, the charity has helped protect over 6,000 acres of rainforest from destruction in Peru and Papua New Guinea.

“As part of our far-reaching environmental policy we created a long-term partnership with Cool Earth that will protect these irreplaceable eco-systems” - Yuichi Tada, Managing Director, Brother International Europe.
