Support Cool Earth
When you return your Brother toner or ink cartridge to us using our free recycling scheme, you are helping to protect the rainforest. As part of our recycling scheme Brother has partnered with the award-winning charity Cool Earth which works alongside indigenous communities to halt rainforest deforestation. Since our partnership began in 2009 we have helped communities to flourish in some of our planet’s most biodiverse, vital environments, protecting ecosystems that have stored over 50 million tonnes of carbon.
This work is vital to the future of our planet, and we are immensely proud that Brother customers are contributing to this global effort every single day.
There are so many reasons why we need to protect our rainforests. Not only do they provide us with approximately a quarter of all medicines, they are the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth and contain over 30 million species of plants and animals.

Brother partners with Cool Earth backing the newly established Asháninka Partnership. From the first village partner of Cutivireni, Cool Earth now works with four Asháninka partnerships in Peru’s Ene Valley, supporting these indigenous communities to develop sustainable livelihoods and protect rainforest from encroaching threats.
A school is built in Taroveni village, supporting 28 households and families.
Medical outpost built in Parijaro village. This provided critical urgent care to the remote village which had limited access to treatment and medicines.
Brother reach a total of 3.5 Million endangered rainforest trees Potected and fund a new classroom for 174 Children in Gadaisu, Papua New Guinea.
