Within the Trust’s Pathology department, they had two label print vendors producing their blood labels. The 20 printers are now out of warranty and becoming uneconomical to repair, the current vendors have also put the price up on the device even though the model of printer hasn't changed in the last 5 years. Another issue staff have raised is space within the testing area and multiple times the printers have been pushed off the work bench and broken.
