Brother UK is launching two new ranges of multifunction inkjet printers – the J5000 and J6000 – designed specifically for SOHOs and small businesses.
The three J5000 models have A3 colour print capabilities within compact A4-sized machines. The J6000 range includes three A3 models which offer colour A3 printing and scanning, cementing Brother’s position as market leader in the A3 business inkjet category.
The six new models, which replace the J5000 and J6000 machines currently available, provide low cost, reliable and efficient printing.
Priced from £190, the machines use high-yield cartridges to ensure running costs are kept to a minimum, and offer better mono and colour print quality through Brother’s new Pigment Ink technology.
The printers are capable of fastest-in-class FPOT (fastest page out time) and FCOT (fastest copy out time) – both as low as six seconds.
All models are durable and sturdy, to withstand busy office environments, and feature redesigned print heads and improved paper trays to prevent jams.
The inkjets are compatible with a range of mobile and cloud connectivity services, including Google Cloud Print, Airprint, One Drive, Evernote, Google Drive and Dropbox. Users can also print from and scan to mobile devices using Brother’s own iPrint & Scan app.
The two new flagship machines, the MFC-J5930DW and MFC-J6935DW, also have PCL and NFC card authentication for pull printing, ideal for network environments.
