Rated 3 out of 5 by David from Adequate printer, sometimes needing power cycle. When it works it does an adequate job. I have this model because it was the standard called for by my company. I have 3 similar models over the years and 2 are still in service. One of them would be weird and just stop working after a long time idle. I would have to unplug it a few times and wait for it to restart before it would work again. Never could figure out the issue.

I am Brother loyal foe [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this Brother printer for a while and It never lets me down. It uses dye-based ink and it does pint great pictures. If I had to replace it today, I would buy the same model as this one. Brother makes great printers as well as a myriad of other products. They only are second to Epson which also makes a ton of other products. I am Brother loyal! Rock on!
