With an in-built ultrasonic multifeed to eliminate misfeeds, the ADS-4700W has a large 80 sheet ADF capacity and rapidly scans up to 40 pages per minute. The separation switch enables very thick and thin documents, plastic cards and crumpled paper to smoothly feed through with ease.
Simple and intuitive
Set up a dedicated user interface with one-touch scanning and the ability to add up to 56 shortcuts to frequently used destinations. You can also use an optional external cardreader to make the scanning process even easier. Just tap the card and add your documents into the ADF to automatically and securely capture the information on the page.

Unwürdiger NachvollgerIch war grundsätzlich ein Brother-Scanner-Fan. Dementsprechend haben wir die Gräte auch an unsere Kunden empfohlen.
Irgendwann konnte man den ADS 2700W nicht mehr erwerben, sodass wir auf die neueren Geräte, die auch ergonomischer aussahen umgesattelt haben.
Die Funktionalität hat nicht wesentlich zugenommen. Die hochkomprimierten PDF Dateien lassen sich nicht mehr per Knopfdruck und Workflow erstellen sondern sind nur noch über die Software auswählbar. Warum? Damit wir automatisiert keine kleinen sondern große Dateien erzeugen? Ist für mich nicht nachvollziehbar. Signierte PDF Dateien gehen noch, braucht fast kein Mensch. In der Software Brother iPrint&Scan kann beim Stapelscan keine Trennung erfolgen, dass ich einzelne Dokumente erstellen und abspeichern kann. Auch das ist für mich eine Standardfunktion die schon ewig fehlt und auf sich warten lässt. Kann die Konkurrenz (Canon) besser und schon seit Ewigkeiten. Ich frage mich, warum nicht nach links und rechts geschaut wird. Im Automatikmodus sind manche Kassenbelege zu lang. Da muss man dann separat auf lange Seite schmal umstellen. Auch nicht zeitgemäß. Solche Dokumentenscanner werden doch primär in der Buchhaltung zum (re)digitalisieren von Papier verwendet. Warum wird es dem Endanwender so schwer gemacht? Kleine Belege können eingescannt werden, jedoch ist der Einzug und die Rollen dafür nicht ausgelegt. Wird dünnes Thermopapier gescannt wird das Papier an der Einzugkante beschädigt oder geknickt. Das ist auch auf dem Scan deutlich. Das Gerät ist für mich eine Fehlkonstruktion und eine Fehlentwicklung.
Schade, dass auch ein Support nicht zu erreichen ist, oder kein Interesse an solchen Informationen besteht, sodass man nur über Produktbewertungen seine Erfahrung mitteilen kann.

Difficult to use!This product is so difficult to set up. I have spent nearly 8 hrs trying to connect my google drive to it. With the Epson Receipt Scanners I was set up in a few minutes. I haven't been this frustrated with a product in my life.

Goede scannerGoedescanner alleen helaas de handleiding over het barcode gebruik in het Engels waardoor ik er niet uit kom. Ook via de ondersteuning van Brother ben ik er niet uitgekomen. Jammer dit want ik wou het gaan toepassen op mijn scanwerk.

Pretty good desktop scannerOverall, it's pretty good. In feed oftentimes folds corners of smaller items, like receipts; should have better infeed paper guides. When turned on, it takes some time to sync up with the network. Software a little cumbersome. Too many utilities to tweak settings. All in all, after making time investment to wade through all the software settings, pretty good so far. Ask me again in five years.

Perfect portable scanner for letter/legal size docI purchased this to bring with me to signing jobs (I'm a mobile notary), as some contractors require scanning signed documents and uploading them to platforms before leaving the signing table. Saves lots of time and effort if they can be reviewed before shipping the hard copies. Works great.

Kommt auch mit langen Kassenschnipseln klarVor einem Monat gekauft. Das Gerät soll mich bei der Belegablage unterstützen. Mein alter Canon zog die Seiten nicht mehr gerade ein. Nun ist alles neu. Der Scanner kann, wenn auch nach längerer Unterstützung durch den Support, mit ultralangen Kassenschnipseln umgehen und die Scannen. Nachteilig ist, dass der Scanner nativ keine durchsuchbaren PDF erstellt. Das funzt erst mit Unterstützung der Software.
