Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great printer with one major flaw I have to say we've had several brother printers for years and always replace them with the new models when we need to in all our offices. This time I decided to try a networked printer to share it when the main system was off and I wasn't disappointed with one exception - the dreaded deep sleep function. It prevents the machine from picking up faxes and means we have to run to the printer to wake it up every time. It's great to save energy over night, but during office hours we need to be able to switch it off, but we can't. I've checked the manual and no joy. Hopefully someone will get in touch with an upgrade or tell me that there is a way to get is resolved.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fairly good. But brand new toner ran out just after 350 pages. Machine is overall fairly good. But brand new toner which came with the brand new machine ran out just after 350 pages. Didn't print graphic or solid black images. Simply just text. Unbelievable. Installation - You cannot install drivers only for stand alone or for one computer using USB. Can install drivers only for network computers using ethernet cable. You have to install the whole package - of course, with the choice of paperport software (but still takes a lot of hard drive space compared to installing drivers only.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good value, and ticks all my boxes One unit, providing scanning, printing and fax, with software that works with all the versions of Windows I have. It would be even more versatile if it were an "AirPrint" printer supported from iPad. It replaces an earlier MFC5440, which I couldn't get to scan with Windows 7, but which had impressed me enough to make another Brother purchase desirable. It put me off ink-jets, because of the ink consumption when idle, so the choice was easy. The usability of the scanner is improved, and everything runs more quickly than on the old machine. Installation was fairly easy, though I still haven't worked out how to make "PaperPort image" appear on the list of W7 printers, so have to switch to an XP machine to create PDFs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It just goes on and on and on and on! As daft as it sounds I find myself recommending Brother printers almost on a daily basis. This is based purely on my experience of my Multi Function Brother Printer. Unlike other printers I've had in the past that are capable of printing a high volume of pages at a high speed my Brother printer has never suffered from jams, or folds. It just prints every time I ask it to without the slighest hitch. Amazing to me also is that since having it and going through ream after ream and box after box of paper it STILL hasn't needed a new toner. Usually in my experience the toner you get with the printer runs out very quickly. Not with Brother. I really cannot recommend this printer or Brother enough!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Faster than my old 8840DN My old printer stopped working with Windows 7 (product itself was still working well after 7 years service with no faults) so I needed a replacement. The 7360 was recommended to me by my supplier. I was surprised by the low cost (the old printer was considerably more expensive) but went with it. The speed of printing is good, the scan speed was a dramatic improvement over the 8840, combined with a compact foot print and reasonable price consumables. I will continue to reccomend Brother printers and MFC's to my customers

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brother MFC7360N An excellent printer and all round very good value. I did not realise it was a network printer when I bought it but was delighted to find out that it was. Not all that easy to set up (maybe my fault as once done it was not too hard) once done works very well on my home network. Pity its not compatible with Apple Air - I would have thought it should be quite simple to produce a software download to do this. All in all a great buy and a big improvement on my old HL1240.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from MFC-7360N The toner replacement is cheaper than the competition. The printer itself is not too expensive. The software to use it could be simpler and it should be easier to find the updates. I can figure out computing stuff, but I'm guessing for older people it would be a nightmare to make this work on a Mac and find the drivers, etc. Also, I think the supply information for the toner should be more accurate than just saying 'ok'. What percent full is it?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from MFC 7360n A good product that delivers value for money. However integrating with 3rd party products is a trial. Having to uninstall Adobe Acrobat Pro, Uninstall the Paper Port software, Reload the Brother software and drivers then re-install the Acrobat Pro to allow the scanner function to integrate was a really painful exercise. The Brother product support team denied responsibility but the Adobe support were magnificent in assisting to resolve this issue. An article on the troubleshooting site will be helpful for other users having a similar issue.
