Rated 1 out of 5 by from Discontinued for a reason Constant jamming Keep having to re-load wireless settings Slow Print quality is good but it 'eats up' the ink at an alarming rate, so you end up printing everything in fast print or save ink mode

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Focusing on the negative The printer has duplex printing but not duplex scanning ... this is acceptable for the money but why doesn't the CC4 software allow for scanning of the odd and even pages using the document feeder (ADF) and then automatically re-interleave the pages to form a single document? The scanner ADF is a little unreliable and causes the document to skew producing slanted scans, usually still legible but I expected better. I have only had limited use of the device but I have noticed the colours are not true when copying, this is particularly noticeable for green ... a vibrant green comes out a mucky shade of green.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good all rounder Good connectivity, very user friendly, frequent paper jamming spoils it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality over quantity Some printers go for speed, some for quality, some for low cost, but few do all three well. Moving into the realm of A3 with duplex ability adds additional elements. My new Brother A3 with fax, copy and scan ability ticks those boxes. I was particularly pleased with the scanner control, which was simple to use without needing to was through pages of instruction. Print quality, even on standard setting, is good and speed, while not the fastest, is speedy enough. The build quality also feels solid and reliable. Overall, this is a well built professional quality printer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Occasional A3 printing and scanning I wanted to be able print and scan A3 occasionally and this fits the bill perfectly at very reasonable cost and with Brother's usual robust quality.
