Great printer for pc but nightmare with ipad and android
I bought this printer on the strength of Brother videos showing the printer printing postage labels from mobile apps for eBay. But this does not work. As this was my main reason for buying I am disappointed.
However if you are using it with pc it is a well made, reliable printer.

I was looking for a compact desktop printer with both Ethernet and WiFi interface with value for money...I found it! Prints very quickly and ideal for my business. Easy to swap labels and very user friendly. Straightforward, easy to use and reliable printer.

Just what I needed!
I purchased this label printer as I needed to label a number of bottles, and also have the option to print labels of differing sizes for other uses, such as address labels.
I set the printer up in no time at all and use it via Wifi and it works a treat despite being quite some distance away from my router. The print speed is outstanding, as it the quality of the print.
If there was one thing that I would change, it would be having some kind of output tray in order to catch the falling labels!
I also purchased this when Brother were offering a £50 cashback, which makes it a real bargain!
I have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone looking for a label printer!

Good label printer that's quick and easy to setup
This is a good label printer that's quick and easy to setup, and up to a fairly high standard for the money. Like all modern printers many internal parts are plastic and will no doubt break if abused - but there is a simple solution to this! If you are setting up on a corporate network and want to use a static IP, finding the auto-assigned DHCP address is a bit tedious, but look in your DHCP manager for a Brother entry and you'll be fine. You can point a browser to this address and set the device up pretty easily, but be sure to change the default password to preserve your settings from unauthorised changes. Print wise, it does the job - this is some kind of heat transfer printer NOT a laser, so do not expect perfectly antialiased and tidily kerned letters. I am a perfectionist, so this probably will not bother 95% of people.
Disclosure: I am completing this survey in return for entry to a draw.

Fantastic small form label printer
I actually purchased this for home use, purely to label reused bottles, kids belongings and security label household goods, but it does so much more than that. It easily prints out pictures uploaded from an ipad or iphone as well as from your PC. This really expands it's uses and appeals. Great fun for printing identity labels for kids party's, large social functions, even wedding or christmas party place settings where you can print the persons photo onto their place setting.
The label printer is of course fantastic for printing business use labels, easily printing bar codes and the fonts are clear for the tiniest prints as well as unpixelated on larger prints, so highly recommended for both business and private use

Great quality - small on size
So much choice on size of labels that you can print. Quality of printing is fantastic - so fast and easy to use. A bit tricky setting it up with the ipad, you just need to be patient and read through everything. Set up on your laptop then the iPad. Printer size is compact. Can even take to Antique Fairs & type up labels whilst there.
Great value for money & great quality.

Great printer, easy access, good value. Not disappointing.
Good quality. I use 62mm continuous labels which can be cut to size.
Very adhesive. Clear print - great templates.
My only criticism - the IOS app doesn't (that I can find) allow rotation of printing to minimise label size.
But otherwise great - even black and white photo printing!

Total Value for money
I can't believe how good this little printer is, an excellent product. I have used other label printers in the past and will definitely use Brother in future!
