Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic printer Bought this printer as it was the only duplex printer available at Argos which I could afford. Wasn't too sure if it would be good enough but bought it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that that I had gotten myself a little gem. Setting up for wireless printing with my windows 8 laptop was easy. Though haven't had the need to do double sided printing, I have however tried every other feature of the printer. Print quality and speed are great when compared to my former Philips printer, it is noiseless, does excellent scanning and photocopying. Would definitely recommend to anybody requiring mono printers for home use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy looking printer.... Although we've only had this printer a few days, we're really pleased with it. It was easy to set up and connected well to our wireless router on both our laptops - each with differing operating systems. It replaces our previous laser printer, a Brother HL-2030, which has served us well for a good number of years with no problems whatsoever. The printing produced is clean and sharp and so to are the copies made with the photocopier. It also looks good in the study! Well pleased all round.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Value Having recently opened a new small business, my priorities are to save money and get efficient machinery at reasonable cost. In larger offices i have had experience with brother products and felt that my small budget would not be able to stretch to one of their better pieces of equipment. I did not want to get a printer from a competitive brand as in my experience, brother products do not break down. I could not believe the speed, efficiency and quality of this printer, ease of use and installation are also great. I definitely recommend it and have done so already!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Breeze to Set Up From the moment I saw this multifunction device, I loved it. When I got it home, I realised that my feelings were not unfounded. Setup was so easy, plug it in, insert the disc and the software does the rest. Well, after connecting to your wireless network. Again though, this was not difficult, especially as my router supports WPS, as does the DCP-7055W. Printing was fast and great quality. The only thing missing for me was automatic duplexing but the wizard makes manual duplexing a piece of cake anyway. I got an app for my iPad and scanned a document without any hassle, very impressive. I would certainly recommend this device for anyone who is looking for a small footprint multifunction device which uses laser printing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More than adequate! Drivers and software for Windows 8.2 operating systems could not be better. Set up is a breeze. Very happy with the wireless networking connectivity. Experience with the DCP-7010 over 10 years and still working faultlessly gives me great confidence for this model which appears to have a better cartridge and paper handling system. Doesn't have a low capacity cartridge so is better value for money than the competition.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Essential small office stuff We've got a couple of Brother mono laser printers so I had a good bench mark. I paid extra for the wireless as I have enough wires around me and was only a tiny bit concerned about my laptop finding it. As it happened I was worrying about nothing. Simple instructions, easy to set-up an get going. Fast, quality printing with the toner that came with it and replacements are good value too. The scanner has proved really useful as has the copy facility. In fact it's so good I'm going to get one for our home too! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DCP-7055W Great product, very neat on desktop with small footprint for a laser printer. Wireless easy to set up and works perfectly with all our i-devices. Print quality good. Its become the general workhorse for every day printing where colour is not required

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very useful Mono Printer Ticks all the boxes for me as it fits nicely in a space between my desk & filing cabinet on the floor and all user controls are accessible from the front or top, hopfully cheeper to run than some of the other printers i looked at (time will tell!)
