Rated 4 out of 5 by from First Impressions Installed and setup easily. Fairly loud, louder than my last laser printer (HP 402dne), but way faster in print time. Only problem, unit wanted to upload new firmware, stalled at 30% and wouldn't finish. Brother tech support insisted that my 10' usb cable was too long, although it seems to print fine with it. Short story, was able to kill the firmware upgrade and after several restarts, it works fine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ghosting There’s so many features that I love about this printer but the fact that it leaves ghosting on papers is a big negative. I use only brother ink and I have used multiple papers to see if it would fix the problem. Brother was wonderful and replaced my machine and it still doing it on the new printer. I have a 6200 that does the same thing. Very disappointing.
