Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a great printer, best printer ive ever owned! I have had this printer for at least 6 years now, ink lasts me a good 3 months, if not longer, (i'm a student at uni, and do a lot of work based printing too). The printer has never jammed up, nor has it ever had any other issues to speak of.. Its moved house twice and has been in many rooms. Each time resetting it up has been a breeze, and while it does sometimes loose connection on the WiFi, (might be my connection though...?) it has not bothered me and it sorts itself out in the end. Document scanner is SO useful, as is the flatbed for general scanning, and the ability to scan to a USB drive is very useful and is how i do a lot of my scanning (even to PDF too). Fax machine has never been used, so cant say much about that. Disc printing works really well, not used it so much in the past few years, but at when i was at college, was useful for as number of art based projects, and good for making your own CD playlists for my older car with CD player. Simply put, the best printer ive ever used, and well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Printer Yet I have used many different printers from a number of manufacturers and thought I would return to try a Brother Inkjet, having used a Brother laser for over 10 years without any trouble. It installed immediately, found my network immediately, found both my Apple iMac and my wife's Windows 7 laptop; set itself up and was ready to print within minutes. It sleeps using next to no power and bursts into life as soon as I press print on any of my devices including iPad. The print quality is superb and uses much less ink than its rivals. I expect it will be the most cost effective inkjet printer I have ever owned. I am delighted with it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A modern up to date printer with lots of features After having a Brother DCP-350C for the last 4 years I decided to look at and upgrade and this was the perfect printer, I have used most of the functions on this machine except the DVD printer and I can say that the quality is much better than my old printer especially on photo copying. This machine is quieter and quicker at printing than the old one, and with double sided and DVD printing also wireless connection this is ideal for my needs, it works on my home network great, even though my old printer is still going strong with no problems I would recommend this printer to anyone. You can get cheaper printers but the build quality is very good and it looks good so it is worth paying a little extra.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oh Brother! Well this must be my third Brother and without a shadow of doubt the very best so far. Just does what it says on the tin! Plus when I have had it a while I can get a continuous ink system, although of course Brother will not cover it then so be careful. I am just very please I haven't strayed away from the Brother stable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wifi works well Having had problems with wifi on previous machines, found this works extremely well and picks up quite happily from four laptops round the house. Print quality very good. Ink not so easy to locate, but thanks to Amazon found quite cheaply. Not sure if to stock up or not.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wiresless setting up difficult The printer is very good especially if connected permanently with USB. The wireless connecton of my desktop was difficult to do and did not work so well when printing email documents. I had to change to USB connection and I have so far failed to set up wireless connection to my laptops.
