Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product but a couple of improvements needed Over all I am very happy with my MFC-J6710DW Good points 2 trays, great for the office Speed Print quality Scanner speed and quality Wireless, easy setup A3 Bad points The pull out tray for catching the paper after it has been printed is very very flimsy, if you knocked into it you could easily break it. The rest of the printer is solidly built so not sure why this flimsy. I think this is a very big over site. Photo print colour is very poor for a printer nowadays. Prints come out really red. Brother really should improve this especially as it only requires tweaks in the software to adjust colour settings. The print quality is good but the colour is way way off. Would I buy again? Yes as there s nothing else on the market that is A3 and 2 tray multi function.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overpriced Brother Printer When I set up the printer for use in a small office, even though I selected all the features, the scan feature was not added, so had to re-install again for each user. For wireless, we could not connect, had to set up wired feature first and then set up wireless Printing is ok, but not quiet, and paper jams a few times, speed is ok, but printing of high colour takes a while Good to have more than one tray to use, however does not have the function that when one tray is empty, it automatically prints from another tray with the same settings, which should be standard for any printer with more than one tray Scanning facility is ok, now that I've added a few users, i cannot scan from printer to pc, but can scan from pc to printer, once ive place document on printer Overall, an average printer, that is overpriced

Rated 3 out of 5 by from MFC-J6710DW The product is a good concept but have one or two small problems ie paper sensor keep giving error no paper when the trays are full and the paper pick up either picks up 3 or 4 sheets at a time although this is intermittent and frustration taking longer to do a print run. occasional paper Jams maybe caused by bad pick up these are all time consuming and adds to the delay in finishing print projects otherwise a good concept

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very slow, noisy and a right pain to use What looked like a good printer has turned out to be a nightmare. It is incrediably slow to print in colour - 15mins for an A3 page, and makes a hig pitched screaming noise for most of the time it's printing. if I didn't need a cheap A3 printer it would have gone in the bin! Not impressed. One of our new laptops refuses to install the software and we've given up trying to make it work. 1 out of 5

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A3 wireless colour inkjet MFC with business software drivers A bigger footprint than the A4 equivalent printer (DCP J925DW) because it can print A3 which is good for my children. High quality print for an inkjet that is not focussed on photo quality print. High resolution scanning and copying. Fantastic software suite and simple to install. It even automatically connected to my company's IT system. If the size puts you off then have a look at the A4 one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big and flexible This is a great, well built multi functional printer. The print quality is good, if a little lacking in contrast in standard mode, and duplex printing can be quite slow, but for the price its impossible to beat, has loads of functionality and just works. Apple air print functionality would be a nice addition though. Would recommend to anyone with enough space for it. Low running costs too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from All round good printer. Purchased this for use in a small office. It suits perferctly for this purpose. Wireless connectivity works fine. Has many functions including: Printing Scanning Faxing & Copying. Worth the amount paid for. Only problem with the printer is it now seems to like paper jams. This is sorted in a minute of opening the required area but can get quite annoying when happening repetetively.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Printer I dithered for some time before bying this printer. I was eventually forced into a decision when my last printer gave up! (Not a Brother) I could not be more pleased with the machine. It starts up quickly, it copies and prints at speed and does everthing I have asked of it so far. It is also robustly built which is something I always look for in buying equipment these days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all round product THis product has so many good features it's difficult to highlight them all. The main ones I guess would be instant Mac compatibility and the double sided printing option. Saves a fortune on paper and the ink supplies are not expensive compared to some manufacturers. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product for small business or home office use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sticking with MFC We used MFC printers before so knew what to expect. This was the first A3 paper sized model we purchased so we could replace 2 older units. We don't use the fax mode on this unit but assume it works as well as previously. A3 scanning is real bonus, duplex printing is handy, print is fast and reasonable quality for the price, and network setup was super easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this multifunction product does everything it says on the label, much to my surprise! It does clean printing and photocopying, and the wireless connections work well too. The scanning Nuance programme does not seem very versatile, but I expect I have to get used to it. The ADF works well. It is not a fast printer, but I do not need that and did not expect it. Altogether I am pleased with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Office Printer Easy to set up, good quality printing for general office work. Ink prices reasonable, so economic to run. Wireless so can be accesses by more than one PC. Shop around and you can get for a good price. Not brilliant for photo printing. Colours could be crisper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An A3 printer that fits This printer does everything I want it to. For posters etc the printing is excellent. For copyiing and scanning large documents it is good. Duplex printing is easy and efficient. It is more economical than the laser printer I have recently discarded.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A4 / A3 PRINTING This is my second Brother printer. As I do a lot of A3 printing of drawings as well as normal A4 texts, I find that this is the most economical printer to use, both in capital outlay and running costs. Thoroughly recommend this printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it Quite frankly a brilliant machine as far as I am concerned. One man band running from home office-ticks all my boxes-scanning and copying and A3 bed for those larger jobs. Only problem now is how to get rid of the old photocopier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fairly easy to use Does everything I need in a small business for a reasonable price. Wireless operation was too slow; I couldn't get it connected to a Netgear Powerline network; but connecting it by USB to the computer gives me good performance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2HoppingMad I chose this particular model as being a good all rounder; delighted to be able to print , scan and copy in A3. The only negative is that the fast draft is poorer quality than expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent all-rounder A scanner/fax/copier/printer with A3 capability, two trays, colour, faster greyscale, and above all wireless connectivity, this is a very versatile all-rounder for home or small office.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compact A3 printer This product meets all our requirements - A3 printing, scanning, copying, yet is small, neat and compact which puts it a cut above other similar-featured products on the market.
Date published: 2012-06-26
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product The printer is fast and reliable and the scanner is excellent and document copier is excellent to and is easy to use ,and the a3 and a4 paper is easy to load in the trays .
