Ratings and Reviews

Customer reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DCP-J752DW is a great product This printer is excellent, and very quick at printing, and has proved to be very reliable. The automatic feed for scanning a number of A4 sheets in one go is very useful. The product at first glance appears to be more fragile and flimsy than the Brother Printers were a few years ago. However I can say after a few weeks of use that the printer is suitably robust and should provide many years of reliable service. Brother printers continue to be very cheap to run, because the replacement ink cartridges are very economically priced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Advised choice My old multi function printer/scanner gave up after 8 years and I was dissappointed with the reviews for the 'like for like' replacement. I sought advice from my computer builder who recommended that other clients had found this Brother model more than fit for purpose. Having installed it with ease and used from both my desktop and laptop I totally agree with him. Compact, easy to use and ink costs less for highest quality than old machine. For me an all round winner!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brotherly love? Well brotherly like at least Bought this after reading reviews in a well known consumer magazine. Ink costs are very important to me and Brother score well on this. So far so good. My Brother was easy to set up. I had to download the drivers for my Mac but it was painless (especially considering I am not a techno-geek). The wireless set up has worked well too, which has enabled me to clear a space on my desk. So, on balance - so far no complaints. It has worked well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DCP-J752DW Printer Not really had much chance to fully explore all of the features as yet. I have a AppleMac computer and was not able to use the set up disc supplied on the initial install (I think that the disc was out of date with the current software) However after visiting the Brother web site I was able to complete the job. Very pleased with my use of it so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Printer/Scanner I like this machine. My only criticism is that I keep forgetting to switch it on. All others that I have had in the past have automatically turned on whenever my computer has. Not sure why this one doesn't but I suppose I will get used to it. I use it mainly for card making and I am finding that I get clear pictures and good colour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit for Purpose I purchased this product after consulting the which? magazine. It was very easy to install to both my ageing PC and, wirelessly, to my laptop. Not had a moment's worry about it, and am hoping to enjoy years of low-cost printing to come. It is easy to print, copy and scan using this product. All instructions are very user-friendly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says, and... When my older Brother printer broke (a damaged print head that couldn't be accessed - a very poor design), we decided to replace it with another Brother printer because we'd been so happy with the previous one. We won't be putting the new printer through its full array of functions but the print quality is good and it throws out the sheets at an acceptable speed. Scanning, too, is easy and, using the Windows 7 fax and scan utility, you can stand over the wireless scanner and do all your work, knowing that the laptop will pick everything up that's gone through. One gripe - as with my other Brother - is that you can't set the default print quality to be the one used on each print. For some reason, manually changing it through the dialogue box is necessary. One good, unpublished benefit, was regards SW Radio. On standby, the printer has zero effect on a receiving SW radio just a few cms from it and, when active (but not printing),we got the same results.
