Rated 5 out of 5 by from If i can work it anyone can it's that easy Admittedly I had to ring customer services to help me get this up and running as the instruction manual pretty much said plug it in and it's ready to go but this isn't the case you need to download the software from the internet. Once it was ready (only took a out 15 mins and that's with the customer service bloke telling me everything in simple terms coz I'm a bit slow on technology) it's pretty cool what you can do with this printer. It does only print in black and white but if you've got a bit if an imagination you can make the labels look lovely and very professional (mine is for a new business I've just set up) So yes highly recommended and great value (mine was half price at Currys, October 2017)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from QL-700 not for Windows 10 users I have the strange experience of being an avid fan of the QL-700 to pulling my hair out. I grew instantly dependant on this little marvel. however that was before I upgraded to Windows 10 when the machine refused to cooperate. i spent many hours working with the issue thinking it to be solvable because i overlooked something. turns out i didn't Brother did. they didn't future proof this product. it works on my Mac but everything is manual so there is no efficiency that pc users can enjoy. when i print labels it works best if the machine does the thinking for me... different if printing every day but i am an occasional user and want my files and folders looking well and organised. this was the perfect 10 product, its now a dud. as if to add injury to insult, i convinced myself that brother would have solved it in the last year so i bought a replacement GL700 yesterday to go with my new pc i got for Christmas... i was wrong, nothing has changed. its still a dud.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, efficient and time saving! I was tired of printing labels onto standard paper, cutting them out and then sticking them on envelopes or boxes. With the label maker I can just copy and paste an address into the program they provide and it quickly prints out a label which I then peel off and slap onto a box or envelope. You do not need to buy ink which is a huge plus, before I used a standard printer and it was constantly running out of expensive ink. I would describe the printer as "plug and play", once out of the box the instructions are easy to follow, you effectively plug the label maker in, enter the CD and it's ready to go!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from QL-700 labelling made easy Having received and extensively used the QL-700 I can highly recommend it. The setup is a breeze and with the addition of the editing software advanced labels can be designed and printed extremely fast. The handy auto cutting feature also eliminates waste and enables a variety of labels at different lengths to be printed if you use a continuous label roll. The only feature I have't tried yet is integration to a contact/address book. With everything moving to the cloud these days, it would be a really nice feature if the product integrated with Google+, Facebook etc to retrieve names and addresses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grease lightening QL700 I wanted a small label printer which could print out single labels neatly and quickly. Printer Base recommend the QL700. It was quick and easy to set up. I am in the jewellery business and we need to be able to attach small labels to ring boxes etc.. I like to use labels approx 50 x 29mm with about 5 lines of print, detailing the gold quality, diamond size and price. I can even attach our shop branding/logo, its just brillaint. The QL700 is ideal for this application, it is quick and easy to use and the labels look so much nicer than even the best handwriting, and the print doesn't fade like ink, in our window display. I would recommend this little printer to anyone wanting to print off single or multiple labels

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Marvellous piece of kit I wasnt expecting too much when I bought this (QL-700), but have subsequently been blown away by the speed and ease of use, and the quality of the printing. I use it for parcel labels, plant labels, file labels etc. Its remarkably easy to use, has a small footpint so is easy to house and the included software works well. Changing label rolls is a doddle, and the auto cut of labels is excellent. Also spoke to the Brother helpline who were really helpful. You really cant go wrong with this device - a million times easier than using label sheets in normal printers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and furious label printer After much deliberation, following years using another brand, I opted for the Brother QL700 printer based on its print number/paper value to boost the branding and image of a new company I launched. The Brother QL700 has delivered, and much more. Despite some initial computer-dummie setup hickups the printer has provided super speed high spec printing, that matches those of industrial professional printing I have had. It's super easy to set up, and though the official label rolls might not be wallet friendly, it's adaptable with all kinds of other brands and sizes, and automatically recognises each which means there is plenty of choice and options of sizes and providers, where other brands wouldn't be able to supply. I strongly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flexible and Fast This label printer is ideal for producing quick labels from anything. One of the beauties of it is that it comes complete with it's own onboard software if you don't want to install it to print a quick label off. If you install it as a native printer then the print speed is pretty much instant. We use it to print registration badges which it is ideal for due to it's speed and clarity of the printed image; it's not just limited to address labels. My only downside is the cost of the media (but there are alternatives!!)
