Industrial label design software for PC and Mac
The PT-P900W uses P-touch Editor label design software for Windows and Mac. Link to a Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet or .csv file to print multiple labels quickly and efficiently.
Print from smartphones or tablets
Instantly create and print simple labels from your smartphone or tablet without needing to fire up your PC. The Brother iPrint&Label app wirelessly connects to the PT-P900W to let you design and print labels from your iOS or Android device. Or if you need to identify electrical and data cabling and equipment, use the specialised Brother Cable Label Tool app to print labels for wrapping around cables or for sticking to faceplates, electrical distribution boards and other specialist equipment.
Include label printing as part of your solution
Software and app developers can use various software development kits for Microsoft Windows, iOS and Android devices to enable label printing from within your own software and apps. This makes the PT-P900W ideal to integrate into various solutions where durable labels are required.
Print wherever and whenever required

P-touch laminated labels - tested to extreme
Brother TZe tape cassettes come in a wide variety of widths and colours, and include specialist tapes such as strong adhesive, flexible ID (for wrapping around cables or creating flag labels), tamper evident and security tapes. These laminated tapes are incredibly durable, and are designed and tested to withstand extremes in temperature, sunlight, moisture, abrasion and chemicals.

Warranty ProcessIt is for a replacement device. It came without seal. Anyone could have just taken the content out during delivery. It took 3 days of calling and trying before we went through all the troubleshooting. The device works sometimes and sometimes not. Wasted 2 cartages to do all the testing.

Super Labelprinter mit vielen MöglichkeitenNach jahrelangen Gebrauch eines mobilen P-Touch hab ich mich nun für die PC Version entschieden, da dieses Gerät einfach unendlich viele Möglichkeiten zum Beschriften bietet, auch mit der Möglichkeit Kabelmarker zu fertigen und für Privatzwecke auch Grafiken und Emojis auf Geschenke zu bringen.

Excellente imprimanteJ'ai acheté cette imprimante suite à une démonstration que Brother a fait au salon Rexel à Paris. En tant que électricien je m'en sers pour faire tout mon étiquetage sur les chantier. J'ai déjà plusieurs imprimante de plusieurs marques différentes mais la résolution de celles-ci m'a toujours déçu. Avec la P900W je suis content de pouvoir réaliser des étiquettes d'une si grande qualité. Pour moi l'avantage principale réside dans l'application mobile. Je peux sauvegarder mes étiquettes, les modifier et réutiliser pour d'autre chantier sans avoir besoin de tout refaire à chaque fois, ce qui constitue un gain de temps énorme. J'ai ajouté une photo pour montrer la qualité d'impression de la P900W vs une marque concurente. Même caractéristiques et gamme de prix et dont les cassettes sont presque 2x plus chères que celles de BROTHER. En haut une impression avec une l'imprimante concurante, en bas avec la P900W. Je vous laisse juger par vous même.

Leider nur rudimentäre macOS UnterstützungIch habe dieses Beschriftungsgerät angeschafft um wetterfeste Labels erstellen zu können. Für Etiketten habe ich bereits den QL-810W.
Die Einrichtung des WLAN ist mit dem Brother Wireless Setup-Assistenten relativ einfach. Eine WPS-Taste wie z.B. beim QL-810W wäre jedoch wünschenswert. Gegenüber dem QL-810W fällt auch auf, dass die Netzwerkeinstellungen nicht so umfangreich sind und die Drucker-Webseite nicht mit https aufgerufen werden kann (sollte heute Standard sein). Auch fehlt unter Administrator der Punkt Firmware-Update, sodass man immer auf ein Update-Programm angewiesen ist.
Die Qualität der Druckausgabe ist für diese Art von Druckern sehr gut. Unterstützt wird dies durch die sehr guten, wenn auch etwas teuren Schriftbänder. Diese gibt es zudem in unterschiedlichsten Breiten und Farben.
Wer allerdings auf macOS setzt wird gegenüber Windows benachteiligt. So kann man aktuell ein Firmware Update für den Drucker nur mit Windows einspielen. Auch ist die begleitende Software für macOS nicht so umfangreich wie für Windows.

Sehr gutIch habe dieses Gerät gekauft, weil ich die Halbschnittfunktion haben wollte (reduziert Verschnitt und erleichtert Handhabung) und Etiketten bis 36mm drucken wollte. Dieses Gerät und der nächstgrössere P950 haben ausserdem eine sehr hohe Auflösung im Vergleich mit den kleineren Modellen (schneller druckt er auch, aber das ist privat nicht sooo wichtig). Eigentlich hätte ich gerne die LAN-Funktion des 950 gehabt, aber der Preisunterschied war dann doch zu gross. Bin begeistert von dem Gerät - und schick ist es auch.

Tolles Gerät, ABER............Top Gerät, aber leider ist man als Mac User komplett benachteiligt..... Erschreckend wie Lieblos und abgespeckt die Mac Version der Label Software ist.
