Good Value for the Money The second Brother laser printer I have owned. Very easy to set up and quality of print is excellent. Still need to get to know all features but would recommend to anyone looking for a good, efficient printer. 30 December 2016
New acquistion so limited experience, It appears to work fine. It is quite light in weight. The paper handling is minimalised but appears to be functional, The electrical cord to the plug is considerably too short in my domestic situation. That is especially so since one is advised not to use an extension. 28 December 2016
Easy setup I have been using this for a few weeks now and so far have not had any issues with it. Putting in the WiFi password was a bit fiddly but there is a WPS option (if your router supports it). My iMac connected to it no problem, although I already had the Brother software installed for use with another Brother printer. It does not support AirPrint for printing from iPads but you can download a free app which allows you to print off web pages and has some options for printing documents from within the app too. I haven't tested printing from an iPad yet but scanning works fine. You have to open the front panel to load the paper which increases the footprint size, even though there is quite a large indentation at the back of the printer which could have been used if designed differently. 19 December 2016
Just works ! Easy to set up and its first task was to print out 800 pages which it did with ease. It slowed down towards the end of the print but it did the job. Great value for money and I'm very happy. 11 December 2016
Vast improvement from Ink Jet I have only been using this for a month or two, but so far I'm very satisfied. Print quality is excellent, first copy generation is a tad slow but it is fast once it prints subsequent pages. It is a little loud in use, and it stands 10" tall but they are about the only slight negatives. Why did I struggle to get decent print quality from inkjets for all those years? Certainly I would never go back, not if I can buy one of these for around £80. One thing it could do with is some sort of indicator to tell you how many pages you have used to date and how many more you can expect. 30 November 2016
A neat all-in-one printer This is my second Brother printer and I've been very happy with it so far – easy to set up, wireless facility a bonus, and prints/scans/photocopies as described without taking up too much room on the desk. The only drawback is the small and rather indistinct digital display, which I find hard to read. 24 November 2016
This product is easy to use The printer was no problem to install, using a wifi connection. Printing and copying is very quick and straightforward, though it took me a while to work out how to enlarge or reduce copies. It seems good value for money. 18 November 2016
Excellent value for money home-office printer I have bought two of these printers and they represent excellent value for money. I bought if because of its small footprint (perfect for a small home/office), its WiFi connection, reliability of Brother and its price. The only problem I have had was after downloading the latest Brother software upgrade to my Mac which then showed the cartridge out of ink (it definitely was not). The Brother website recommended a firmware upgrade which unfortunately froze 90% of the way through being installed into the printer and left the printer completely unresponsive. I was happy enough with the first printer to buy another one but, whatever happens, I will NOT be upgrading the firmware! 26 October 2016
