My DCP-J725DW Brother 'all in one'
As a non technical OAP I find that my new Brother printer is a real gem.
I have previously had various makes of printers over the years, and all have been difficult to understand and use.
This is the best one yet, copying, scanning, printing and so much more at the push of a button.
Long may my present stress free printing continue.
No government health warning on this machine..OAP Les.

Bought this printer because I wanted one that could match up with my iPad and it works great,

I was looking for a compact all in one printer and discovered the Brother DCP-J725DW. After reading some online reviews I decided that this was the printer for me.
The ability to print direct from my iPad is very useful. It can also be used like a photocopier if you need single items, which negates the need of booting your PC solely for that purpose.
The only complaint I have is the Blue Adhesive transport tape left several glue marks on the printer casing. After some rubbing of isopropyl alcohol I managed to remove these marks.
All in all if you after a compact all-in-one printer where the ink cartridge refills are not expensive, I couldn't recommend this printer enough.

When my first ever printer, a faithful 6 year old DCP130, started to eat print cartridges, I was told it would be cheaper to buy a new printer than get the old one serviced. Looking at the various cheaper-end multi-function machines, it seems Brother still came up trumps, and the DCP-J725DW had the best reviews of all... but it had just been taken out of production. Thankfully I found one online. It is barely bigger than my old printer, quite compact compared to some other machines, yet it does duplex copying/printing and it has a snazzy touch-screen display. The wi-fi connection was dead easy to set up - it did most of it itself! - and it works like a dream so far. VERY pleased with the quality of photo printing. I've yet to see how well the inks last, but for the price this has to be a winner. Really pleased with my choice.

Great printer for the money
In this price range probably the best printer on the market.

cracking piece of kit !
this is the easiest printer I have ever used. I downloaded an app, plugged it all in and seconds later I was happily printing.

I bought this printer mainly because the cost of cartridges is very cheap when compared to buying replacements for other mainstream manufacturers printers.
Although described as an "All in One" machine it does not act a a fax machine but I guess that's not a problem these days - certainly not to me anyway.
Well made, easy to use, touch screen controls, good software, fine print quality - a recommended buy.

Good all round printer
I previously had a DCP340CW for many years but I was having wifi connection issues. However, I didn't hesitate to continue with Brother and so far it has done all it has been asked. My only disappointment was that I have a purchased copy of Nuance 14 but this just wouldn't communicate. It just doesn't seem to be supported. I had to revert to the Brother supplied Nuance 12 and this works fine. This will be an issue with Nuance rather than Brother.
