Scenario:
A secondary school uses 'scan to network' to electronically archive official education documents and students work. Previously a member of staff had to scan the documents manually to their PC and then upload them. Scan to network has reduced the amount of time staff spend scanning and archiving documents, enabling them to concentrate on other more important tasks.
Kris Williams, Deputy Head & Head of ICT at James Rennnie School is using our A3 multifunction inkjet printers to scan documents into their system. He says, "the staff used to struggle to file and record a student's work as their needs often meant they work on A3 sized pieces of paper. Now with Brother's A3 multifunction printer, built-in scanner, all individual pieces of work can be scanned directly into our system to be recorded on their achievement files. We now have a complete electronic record of each pupil's progress and it also alleviates the problem of filing space."
