level of optimum performance and reliability when used with genuine Brother branded ink cartridges.
Brother cannot guarantee this optimum performance and reliability if ink or ink cartridges of other
specifications are used.
Brother manufactures their ink to exacting composition and consistency to ensure no degradation of
internal parts. They are produced to a very high standard and are filled in rigorous environments that
eliminate dust and air from the filling process. Incorrect specification and contaminated ink can cause
damage to the printing mechanism. If damage is caused to the print head or other parts of the machine
as a result of using other brands of ink, then any repairs required may not be covered under warranty.
Brother cannot guarantee optimum performance if ink or ink cartridges of other specifications are used.
Brother therefore strongly recommends that you do not refill the cartridges provided with your machine.
We also recommend that you continue to use only genuine Brother branded ink cartridges.
