Brother's Integrated Hospital Barcode solution
A large hospital has been printing barcodes for many years on their HP LJ3015DN laser printer using expensive optional barcode printing upgrades. After the IT department recognised the need to find an alternative, more cost-effective solution, they found that by installing Brother printers they could drastically reduce costs, as the barcode printing capability comes free with each printer.
They chose a roll-out plan of 10, 15 and 30 units and consequently saved £4,625.70, £6,938.55 and £13,877.10 respectively. This added up to a total saving of £25,441.35, which was re-invested back into buying other essential healthcare equipment.
