Scan to FTP

Scan and save electronic documents directly to a shared location for ease of access to information - an efficient way of dealing with large documents.

How does it work?
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) allows you to save and transfer documents to a shared network location. Scan to FTP lets you scan your document to a location of your choice - documents can then be accessed using freely available software. To achieve even greater efficiency you can pre-store your most common FTP destinations along with desired file settings.

Scenario: A busy legal department uses Scan to FTP to electronically archive all of its paper documents. Previously a member of staff had to scan the documents manually to their PC and then upload them all using special FTP software. Scan to FTP has reduced the amount of time staff spend scanning and archiving documents, enabling them to concentrate on other more important tasks.
