Internet Fax (iFax)

If you're looking to make savings around the office,
iFAX (Internet Fax) lets you send and receive faxes over the internet, saving you the cost of using your phone line. And you'd be surprised how quickly that small saving turns into a substantial amount - especially if your business has a number of offices or outlets regularly sending faxes between them.

Here's how the savings could mount up:

How does it work?

Using iFAX is really straightforward. Simply send your fax as normal, but instead of dialing a number either manually enter an e-mail address of the receiving machine or choose one from a pre-stored quick dial list.* You can also select recipients from your company-wide address book if your e-mail server has Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) capability.

Brother's iFAX feature can also work with third party fax servers, and as it's a feature on our all-in-one machines you can also print, copy, scan and fax the traditional way.

* iFAX will only work with other iFAX compatible devices

Scenario:**

A high street retailer has 100 branches, all of which regularly need to fax reports into the accounts team at head office. They lease each phone line at £12 per month (£144 per year) and pay approximately £5 per month on faxes sent (£60 per year). By switching to Brother’s iFAX enabled machines, the business saved £1,700 per month – a massive £20,400 per year – which has helped improve cashflow so more money can be re-invested elsewhere.
