This year we launched our Schools Enterprise Programme, investing over £10,000 into South-West London schools as part of our role as Official Technology Partner of Fulham Football club.
The project, run in conjunction with the Fulham Football Club Foundation, aims to help students develop enterprise skills and enhance their understanding of technology in business.
The project involved Brother employees delivering an eight week programme of classes and mentoring sessions on a range of topics, from marketing to technology.
This culminated in pupils from each participating school developing a matchday business plan which was presented to Brother MD Phil Jones at Craven Cottage last week.
Steven Day, CEO for Fulham Football Club Foundation, said: “We have played a key part in the community over the past 20 years and we always look for ways to increase our educational remit in local schools. We’re extremely grateful for Brother’s support in helping that continue.”
Participating schools also received the latest Brother technology, including printers, scanners and online meeting service OmniJoin.
