Brother UK are excited to announce that we are the official imaging solutions partner for the international Six Day cycling event taking place in London from the 18th to 23rd of October.
Our sponsorship deal will see us provide trackside advertising at the 6,000-capacity venue, London’s Lee Valley VeloPark, where Eurosport will be broadcasting the event.
Six Day racing dates back to 1878 and this is the first time it’s been held in the UK in 35 years, with 65 riders, including nine Olympians, from 18 countries due to compete in a variety of races. The lineup includes World Tour stars Niki Terpstra, Iljo Keisse and Adam Blythe as well as Dani King and Sarah Storey. For more on the event, visit their website at sixday.com, and follow on Twitter @SixDayCycling, or via hashtags #sixdaylondon and #sixday.
We’ll also be running a six-day Twitter competition, where we’ll be offering fans a chance to win a range of cycling prizes, including a Condor Lavoro Frameset. The official prize competition hash tag is #BrotherSixDay
Phil Jones, managing director of Brother UK, said: “Following our partnership with the Aviva Women's Cycling Tour as the event’s Official Printing Partner this summer, Six Day is the latest international cycling event we’ve been involved in this year and we’re proud to be playing a role in helping to welcome it back to the UK after 35 years.”
